On our way to perfection, we enrich the lives of our patients by bringing smiles back to their faces. What makes our clinic so special?

Diagnostic

In our clinic, we dedicate ourselves to each and every patient, and for each one of them we create a unique plan of therapy. That is why we always begin with getting the whole picture and gaining an insight into patient’s dental health. As a part of digital dentistry approach, we offer the following:

  • DENTAL RADIOGRAPHS –high resolution dental x-rays
  • CT scan – 3D scan of a particular tooth or of the entire oral cavity
  • DIGITAL IMPRINT – faster, simpler and more precise imprint when compared to classic imprint taking that is unpleasant and time consuming. Digital imprint is performed by an intraoral scanner and it takes several minutes
  • DIGITAL SMILE DESIGN – or the digital design pf smile is the basis of the perfect smile that we want and plan for our patient. Based on DSD a provisional mock up is made.

Photo studio

When the patient sets foot at Digital Smile Academy, first we take him to the photo studio. Patients are often surprised because they expect to be taken to the dentist’s studio for a checkup. Instead, they face the professional photographer. Why do we do it like that? Facial expressions and face movements that can be seen in the photos and videos make all the patient’s disguises created through time go away. That is why our planning always begins with photos and videos. This helps us in getting what we really want: to understand the real emotions on our patient’s faces. Also, photographs of the smile and intraoral photographs will be the basis of the digital smile design created by using a special software.

Marko Vukić

Dr. Marko Vukić graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Zagreb in 1991. He has been successfully leading our clinic for 30 years, leading global trends in Croatia. During his long career, he has distinguished himself as an innovator, entrepreneur and a beloved teacher. Today, Dr. Vukić enjoys a somewhat calmer pace, acting as a mentor to younger colleagues.

In his free time, he enjoys making cream puffs and playing table tennis.

Ivan Malić

Dr. Ivan Malić graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry in Zagreb in 2007. Thanks to his great talent, dedication to his work and sense of aesthetics, he became an excellent prosthodontist and a role model for many generations of dentists. Today, Dr. Malić is the right hand of Dr. Vukić at our clinic, a versatile and modern dentist who successfully follows and applies all world trends, creating dazzling smiles.

In his free time, he watches all sports, but he especially loves basketball.

Tadej Zavadlav

Dr. Tadej Zavadlav graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry in Zagreb in 2018, where he developed an interest in fixed prosthetic therapy, which he now successfully performs in our clinic. We are proud that Dr. Zavadlav was employed at our clinic during his studies and, under the mentorship of Dr. Vukić, became a pillar of our clinic in all branches of dentistry. Today, Dr. Zavadlav successfully mentors colleagues, following the latest global trends.

In his free time, he likes to beat Dr. Malić at basketball, and he loves Kinder chocolate.

Dean Cekić

Dr. Dean Cekić graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry in Zagreb in 1998, and in 2008 he completed a master class in implantology in Los Angeles, which has become his most important field of activity. Dr. Cekić has been successfully conducting implant rehabilitation of edentulous patients at our clinic for eight years. Today, Dr. Cekić uses his many years of knowledge to educate colleagues and regularly participates in world dental congresses.

In his free time, he balances between darts and spearfishing.

Vjera Kalmykova

Dr. Vjera Kalmykova graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry in Nizhny Novgorod in 2004. She moved to Croatia for love, and has been pursuing her passion for dentistry at our clinic since 2015. Under the mentorship of Dr. Vukić, she chose aesthetic and restorative dentistry as her main field of activity. Today, Dr. Kalmykova is a pillar of our clinic, a favorite dentist and a role model for younger colleagues.

In her free time, she enjoys recreational sports and trying out new recipes while cooking for her family.

Ivan Šeparović

Dr. Ivan Šeparović graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry in Zagreb in 2016. Since 2017, he has been applying his dedication and passion for dentistry to his work at our clinic, where he covers all branches of dentistry, especially excelling at working with young children and patients suffering from dental phobia. Today, Dr. Šeparović successfully leads the rehabilitation of edentulous patients in the implantology and prosthetics fields.

In his free time, he dances on silk, organizes stargazing workshops, and is writing a new book for children.

Anela Grbavac Jagarić

Dr. Anela Grbavac Jagarić graduated from the Faculty of Dental Medicine in Zagreb in 2019. She joined our team the same year, and with the mentorship of Dr. Vukić and a supportive environment, she quickly gained the knowledge and confidence to take on demanding rehabilitations with an emphasis on aesthetics. She is continuously educated and follows the latest global trends. Today, Dr. Grbavac Jagarić is a role model for her colleagues, a leader in new trends and a synonym for top-notch aesthetic work.

In her free time, she loves to sing and spend time in the gym.

Kristina Čukelj

Dr. Kristina Čukelj graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry in Split in 2019. She joined our team in 2020, becoming an example of how, through dedicated work, will and undeniable talent, a young doctor develops into a dentist who is equally successful in all branches of dentistry. Today, Dr. Čukelj is a valuable member of our team and a role model for younger colleagues, regularly informing herself about the latest developments in dentistry.

In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis.

Martina Besek

Dr. Martina Besek graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry in Zagreb in 2021. During her studies, she worked at the Zubić vila association, where she educated children about the importance of oral health, which she now successfully implements at our clinic. Thanks to her work, she regularly receives children’s beautiful drawings that adorn her office. Today, Dr. Besek, under the mentorship of Dr. Vukić, is a valuable member of our team in the Department of Restorative Dentistry and Endodontics.

In her free time, she is an avid hiker.
